A story-starter, in French or English! With simple design, this app allows players to mix and match phrases to make sentences from the sublime to the ridiculous. If you hit the button in the top right corner, you can hear sounds associated with each of the phrases ("kisses" gets a kissing sound, "a star" gets a sweet little chiming note), sort of an aural "reading" of the mini story you've just composed. Matching the color stripes makes the most sensible sentences, choosing all different colors will result in a mixed-up tale. Once all of the options the app offers have been tried out, players have the option to type in their own original phrases (heads-up, there's no filter!), but no sounds are associated with original words.This app is best for kids who are able to read or for adults to read to children who aren't yet able to read independently.
